The Carlisle Barracks Golf Course is one of the finest in Cumberland
Valley. It measures over 6300 yards, has a par 72, and is fully
irrigated, with a normal golfing season from April - November. It also
features a recently constructed practice facility that includes a
driving range, practice putting green, and a green with a bunker. For
an enjoyable dining experience the clubhouse has the 19th Hole
Snackbar, which offers a wide variety of great food and beverages. Whether
you are military or civilian, you will enjoy the fine recreational
facility at historic Carlisle Barracks -- The Showplace of the U.S.
Army.

Notices:
- All required forms (contracts and course set-up) must be returned
to Pro Shop 14 days prior to your event or the event will be cancelled.
- All changes and special requests must be provided to Carlisle Barracks Golf Course head professional 48 hours prior to event.

Tee Times
Tee times are required seven days a week during the months of April thru October.
Priority is given to active duty and annual green fees members who may schedule up to two weeks in advance. All other eligible players may sign up one week in advance.

Dress Code
All individuals using the golf course facilities must be dressed in appropriate attire.
Slacks, dress shorts and sport shirts with a collar are designated as appropriate attire. Women may wear fashion shirts or blouses without a collar. Golf shorts or bermuda type shorts are acceptable attire, but must be no more than 3 inches above the knee.
Proper footwear is also required. SOFT SPIKES ARE MANDATORY. Smooth bottom sneakers are acceptable. Sneakers with cleats or rough soles and street shoes will not be permitted on the golf course or practice green areas.
Prohibited Attire
- Denim (blue) jeans of any type, including brand named denim blue jean shorts
- "Cut offs," short shorts
- Bathing suits
- Tee shirts, sweatshirts of any style
- Sweat suits, gym shorts
- Tank tops and halter tops
Abuse of the above dress code, wearing clothing in poor taste or of a controversial nature on the golf course will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or loss of playing privileges.

Club Guidelines
- Carts are mandatory for all shotgun outings.
- Each Player must have his/her own set of clubs.
- No privately owned coolers are permitted on the Golf Course.
- Proper dress required. No Blue Jeans allowed and Collared Shirts are required. No Metal Spikes.
- Obey all cart rules
- Repair ball marks, replace divots, and rake traps.
- Outing should not exceed 4 1/2 hours playing time.
Course Regulations
Golfers are expected to pay normal fees associated with use of the
course even though the Pro Shop is closed. A drop box/envelop system
has been established to permit authorized patrons who have not paid
annual fees and guests of authorized patrons to pay greens fees during
periods when the Pro Shop is closed.
During the golf season the course and Pro Shop may be closed during
inclement weather. The decision to close these facilities will be made
by the Golf Course Manager. |
