Christkindlmarkt (Holiday Crafts Bazaar) at Carlisle Barracks Are you ready to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the holiday season? This event is FREE and open to the public. Dating back to medieval times, Christkindlesmarkts have been festive outdoor markets held each Christmas season in towns, villages and cities throughout Germany. Featured at these markets are food and drink, holiday ornaments and handcrafted gifts. Even though this event will be held indoors, the festive nature will feature more than 60 vendors offering a wide range of holiday ornaments and decorations, as well as unique holiday gifts and baked goods, seasonal music performances, door prizes, and photo opportunities with Santa. Location: Two locations: Thorpe Fitness Center and Root Hall Gymnasium. This will be our thrid year hosting the Christkindlmarkt. Every year has grown in size and success. We are looking forward to an even bigger and better event, this year!
