Welcome to Carlisle Barracks School-Age Center (SAC). We provide before and after school programs, summer care and care during school vacations for children in grades K - 5. Our programs offer a wide range of physical activities, arts & crafts, homework assistance, computer lab, character building, Boys and Girls Club, 4-H Chapter, fields trips and more...
SAC Before and After School Program Information
- Offered to all School Age Care who are enrolled in grades K-5.
- Parents can choose Before School, After School or both.
- Program is Monday - Friday.
- Schedule based on Carlisle School District calendar.
- We offer hourly care.
- Character Building through Character Counts.

Not to worry parents, there are blocks on certain web-sites and all pop-ups. The lab technician is always in the lab for monitoring and assistance.
Carlisle Barracks Summer Camp
SAC Summer Camp is one of the many programs available through Youth Services at Carlisle Barracks. Our Summer Camp runs from June through August. The camp is set up by the week, so you do not have to sign your child up for the entire summer. You can choose the weeks you wish to participate.
- 5 Full Days- Enjoy our camp Mon-Fri all day. All activities, field trips and meals are included.
4-H ProgramsSAC has a partnership with 4-H. All Children are invited to participate in the clubs.
The current clubs are 4:30-5:15pm and include:
Mondays: Cloverbuds, Ages 5-7 & Gardening, Ages 8-18
Tuesdays: Drama or Art, Ages 8-18
Wednesdays: Photography or Electricity, Ages 8-19
Fridays: Cooking or Astronomy, Ages 8-18

Eligible patrons of DoD Child Development Programs include Active Duty Military personnel, DoD (Civilian personnel paid from both appropriated funds (APF) and non-appropriated funds (NAF)), reservists on active duty or during inactive duty personnel training, DoD Contractors, combat related wounded warriors, surviving spouses, and those acting in loco parentis for dependent child of an otherwise eligible patron. Foreign Military Service members assigned to the Installation/serving the Department of Defense are eligible patrons, Coast Guard when activated are eligible patrons and Retiree’s eligibility is limited to the use of SKIES,YS and Sports and Fitness programs on a space availability.
